 About the School Symbol

The 'A' in the center indicates the initial letter of ASAKUSA, as well as 'Ace', meaning 'first-class'. With the five wings on both sides, the students of the school can fly away to a bright future. As well, each of those five wings indicates the Spirit of Five Virtues, which is the school motto, from Chinese Classics: Jin, Gi, Rei, Chi, Shin (kindness, righteousness, propriety, knowledge, and good faith).
